ITS will be moving the dc4.library.ucsb.edu Library Windows domain controller in Row 9, Rack 3 in the UCSB North Hall Data Center to Row 6, Rack 7. ITS manages several of such domain controllers, which operate in a high-availability architecture. The domain controllers manage various aspects of the Library Windows environment, including authentication, DNS name resolution, access and security policies, etc. There is no expected down time to any of these services.
